Brochure

A brochure is a document which will be used to convey information about the program in a detailed, yet concise manner. This includes both participants, as well as external parties such as partner organisations, speakers, third party platforms, etc.

With respect to participants, the brochure will interact as the first point of contact between your organisation and the participant and therefore is an important informational document which will be referred to time and again.

Keeping this in mind, the content of the brochure should be as inclusive possible and should indicate the motivations behind conduct the program, the structure of the program, as well as the process that participants would have to undergo.

An indicative list of information that should be included is provided below:

1. What, Why, How and Who

It is important to answer these four questions to ensure that the concept and motivations behind conducting the program are made understandable.

2. The F.A.I.R. Methodology

It is crucial to convey information on the different steps of The F.A.I.R. Methodology and explain it so that the reader can understand the thought process that they will be going through. A summary of the four steps should suffice.

3. Calendar

An overview of the dates, times, and sessions in a tabular format that is easy to follow.

4. Timeline

Given that the brochure would also be used for call for applications, it is very important to provide the timelines of the application process and its different stages to ensure clarity. Dates must be included for the following:

  1. Applications Open:
  2. Applications Close:
  3. Interviews and Discussions:
  4. Announcing the Final Shortlist of Changemakers:
  5. Deadline for Changemakers to Confirm Participation:
  6. Open House/Ice-breaker (if any):
  7. The F.A.I.R. Project 2021 Commences

5. Application Process

It is important that both the application process and the relevant links to apply find mention in the brochure. This should include a summary of the questions that have to be answered, the format for answering the questions (audio/video/text), and the minimum requirements to apply.

6. About the Organisation

A short 100-word brief about the organisation is also important to help the readers get more context about the motivations of the program, its objectives, as well as to increase familiarity.
